Lego is an all time favourite with children and adults all over the world and if two students from Canada have any thing to do with it, the plastic building block toy will conquer space in the near future. Matthew Ho and Asad Muhammad have managed to send a Toy Lego man into space using a weather balloon to carry the figure and a camera high into the atmosphere. While the American space programme is running down its manned operations its seems that these students have proved it doesn't take rocket science to make it into space.
Last year in April thousand's of Brazilian children built what is believed to be the tallest Lego tower ever known beating a previous record in Chile. The tower was made from 500,000 pieces of Lego and measuring over 102ft, it was completed with a bit of help from a crane and some wiling parents.
