Being distributed by Paramount Pictures, "Puss in Boots" took a massive $33 Million in its second weekend, bringing its total Box Office takings to over $75 Million, while "Tower Heist" only reached $35 Million total sales and "Harold & Kumar" only $25 Million.
Anne Globe, Head of Worldwide Marketing and Consumer Products at DreamWorks said "To be number 1 again is really extraordinary".
Box Office Analyst Paul Dergarabedian who works for Hollywood.com, said that family films are hard to beat, and family audiences are the ones you can really count on at the moment.
On the 21st of December, Steven Spielberg's Masterpiece "The Adventures of Tintin" opens up to the US Box Office, currently dominating the Box Office Charts outside the US and to date has scooped over $200 Million in total sales, but will it be able to dominate the US Box Office for longer than Dreamworks "Puss in Boots".
