If you live in the Town of Bournemouth in England, or close by, why not spend some time hunting around the town and see if you can spot the many colourful and beautifully decorated Lion sculptures that have been making appearances all over Bournemouth Town, which have all been sponsored by local companies.

This event titled "Pride in Bournemouth" will see the Lions being auctioned off at a special event in the Pavilion Theatre, with all proceeds being split between the Julia's House and the Born Free Foundation charities.

The "Pride in Bournemouth" event is the biggest in a series of Art Events based around the country by "Wild in Art", previous "Wild in Art" events have included "Elephant Parade" in London and "Go Penguins" and "Go Superlambananas" in Liverpool.

We particularly love the red Musical Lion which is featured in the photo above and has various singers' names on it.

So for $pound;3.50 go and pick-up a "Pride in Bournemouth" souvenir guide and follow the Lion sculpture trail or just find them yourself.

The event has been attracting massive interest both by locals and visitors, and it's the perfect thing to keep the kids happy during the summer holidays.
