Brought up on a weird mix of Outlaw Country, Paul Simon, Elton John and The 'Stones most of my first memories revolve around music. I picked up the guitar aged 13 and, 25 years later still can't really play the thing very well.

So instead of being an international rock star I spend my time devouring other people's music, writing about it, dabbling in promotion and management and helping to organise charity festivals.

I am also a professional photographer (specialising in performance / band photography), father of two kids (both of whom are developing excellent musical taste), husband and hold down a full time job. Life is busy but I love it that way!
